HAY MEN HAVE ARRIVED
They started last week during the awful heat but we were happy to see them. They cut what they can and then rack it and bale it.
It is a good arrangement. They get hay and we get cut fields. What they cannot bale Prince will have to bush hog.
Prince checked this afternoon and they have cut three more fields and they will bale it beginning tomorrow.
The Kitty Justice is that they do not have to hurry to finish the job as there is no sign of rain in our forecast.

Hi Lady Di~~It's interesting seeing the grass cut, raked and baled. It is good to get it finished and it is so hot for the men who do it. Sorry you have more 100 degree heat for the next 5 days. Glad you like my G G D s. they are cute. Take care, my friend, keep cool if possible. Love, Merle.

The grass is dead but the trees are so green. I hope you all get some relief soon. Everyone I have talked to is miserable.

Even in the heat yesterday they raked, baled and hauled all 3 fields. Prince said he wish he could have played hookie from work and helped. In his heart he is a farmer and loves to be around any farm work and involved.

It is strange that the trees are still green but I hope they stay green. My dogwood trees in the yard look like they will not be with me next year. I figured I would rather use the water on the perenials and not the trees. LESS DIGGING NEXT YEAR TO REPLANT.
