CHECK OUT THE PRICE!!!!!!
Last night as Prince and I were checking out the new television shows , during a commercial he went and got the small can of polish and his shoes. He opened it and there was just a smell of polish. He flipped the can over and then held it out for me to see.
I started laughing so hard that tears came to my eyes. Thirty nine cents. Just how old was this polish. He looked rather serious and said it was probably in his Father's shoe polishing kit. Now Prince's Father died in 1975 so this polish is an antique.
I told Prince not to say a word about anything Mimi had in the future. It is a standing joke that when you need sometime, she will have it but you can count on it being too old to use. When she tells us she has it we ask her to check the expiration date. Inveriable she has to throw it away and you can almost see the pain in her face as it hits the trash can.
The Kitty Justice is that Prince, Mimi and Puppy have a "DON'T THROW AWAY GENE" as they might need it later. At least they have not started filling up rooms and locking the door like Cuden Will and Cuden Mary Lou.

That is hilarious. I think you could sell those tins to an antique store. They are really cute though.

Ha ha ha SELL is not even mentioned in this house. I think I will make the Log House into a museum and charge admission as I stare at Washington's and Lee's pictures.

Yeah it is RAINING.

I wish things were still at those prices...I've just come back from the supermarket and I never cease to be in a state of shock from the price increases from one visit to the next (and I visit the supermarket frequently...well, once a week, at least). It's scary! And there is no end in sight...that's what's even scarier!

Thanks Jeanette, I will locate an old wheel barrow for next year spring. I am sure there are several located in different spots around here.

I hear ya about the prices. Milk goes up each visit. Lots of farmer are selling off their cattle because of the hay shortage so beef prices will soar when the influx is over.
