Little shaky but my arms were tired.
There were three flying around but I could only capture this one.

These are volunteers from seed as the plant was gone during
August heat.

These were moved to the end of the porch so that they would not
get the full afternoon sun. With a little water and a cooler place
they bounced back from only 2 or 3 strands.
Weekend
It was a wonderful weekend just did not rain and was hotter than usual. Normally we are in the low 80 or high 70's this time of year but it was 93 degrees yesterday.
Prince had a honey do list to do and he got most of it done and then he cut tree branches and hauled them off to a place on the farm. The branch he cut give us a better view of the area where he puts a salt block and shelled corn for the wildlife.
Just maybe when he begins to feed the deer and turkey and anything else that wonders up the hill , that the raccoons will stay down the hill away from my bird feeder.
The poor animals did not get any pears or apples to eat this year as the Easter frost killed the blooms. That includes us poor two legged animals . Plus, the frost made the nut crop very spares. There are not any hickory nuts and only a very few acorns and what nuts that are on the ground are less than half the size of last years crop.
The kitty justice is I should not get upset when I get up to find a big raccoon laying across my bird feeders as they as just hungry.

Hi Lady Di ~~ I love your flowers and the bird feeders. Thanks for your comments. I just love the names of the tomatoes you grow - -Better Boy
and Early Girl. We don't have those here as far as I know. Take care, Love, Merle.

Glad you like the flowers and the names of my favorite tomatoes. Lots of Tn. swear by Bradley tomatoes but each time I plant those they have bug problems.

Thanks
Rocky Racoon will have a new home if I can catch him in the trap my friend will be bringing me this weekend. I might take him to all the way down the Natchez Trace to Alabama and threaten him to cross the state line.

Hummer are so sweet and this year I have had to rescue several from the garage and once one hit the window and I held and warmed it with my hands until she came around. You know me if I could keep one as a pet I would.

love and prayers
