MAGGIE & SILLY FLOWER
THIS CROCUS DOWN BY THE LOG HOUSE THINKS IT IS SPRING. WHY? ALL I CAN THINK OF IS THAT IT GOT THE RAIN AND THOUGHT IT WAS SPRING. THERE ARE ALSO PEAR TREES AROUND TENNESSEE THAT HAVE THE SAME CONFUSION.
MAGGIE HAS TURNED IN HER UT ORANGE COLLAR FOR A LIPSCOMB AND LSU PURPLE. SHE IS SUPPORTING PUPPY'S SCHOOL AND THE SEC (SOUTH EASTERN CONFERENCE)
I PICKED UP HER NEW COLLAR WHEN I WENT TO PETCO ON SATURDAY AS MIMI WAS HAVING HER HAIR DONE. I KNOW IT WAS THE WRONG DAY FOR HAIR BUT SHE HAD A PERMANENT THE PREVIOUS SATURDAY SO WE HAD TO WAIT A WEEK TO GET IT WET. WE ARE SLOWLY WORKING OUR WAY BACK TO WEDNESDAY. THIS WEEK SHE WILL GET IT DONE LATE ON THURSDAY AND HOPEFULLY THE NEXT WEEK GET BACK TO HER REGULAR SCHEDULE. I USUALLY RUN ERRANDS WHILE SHE IS GETTING IT FIXED.
ANYWAY, THE NEW COLLAR IS WIDER AND MAGGIE KNEW IT WAS DIFFERENT SO SHE STRUTTED JUST A LITTLE.
I KEEP TWO FRISBEE IN THE OLD SEEDER OUT FRONT AND EACH AFTERNOON WE GO OUT TO PLAY. IF I GET CLOSE AND SHE IS NOT FINISHED SHAKING IT SHE WILL PUT HER PAW ON IT AS IF TO SAY "LEAVE IT ALONE".
THE KITTY JUSTICE IS THAT BOTH SHE AND THE FLOWERS HELP TAKE AWAY THE SADNESS OF LIFE.

I'm sorry that you're feeling sad, but glad that the crocuses and your beautiful canine companion brighten your life.

I have an Alaskan Malamute and if he doesn't want you to touch one of his toys, he puts his huge paw on it and holds on for dear life. That paw is strong! It can hold down a toy like the strong man at the circus.

Isn't it wonderful to have animals and nature to make the world a whole lot brighter.

Thanks for sharing the beautiful photos. I love both the crocus and the dog.

Blessings,
Mary

Dear Di ~~ The crocus is very pretty
but it should flower in Spring.
Very strange. You are so good to your mother-in-law and that is very
kind of you. Maggi seems to like her new collar.
Thank you for your kind words in comments. I am so glad you enjoy the jokes etc that I post. Take care, my
friend, Love, Merle.

Again your pictures are "GREAT"as Tony the tiger would say. I have learned quite a bit from Mimi over the years and if we are lucky we will all be old one day and have family who like to be around us.

Mary
Yes, nature and animals make our lives better more ways than we can guess.

Merle
Yes that crocus bloomed in Spring and now again in Oct. With the Easter freeze and the August drought & hot weather I do believe lots of things have gotten mixed up.

Peace to all.

LOL! I loved the picture of Maggie shaking her Frisbee. I can see her now. She is a character. Cutie pie.
