MORE CHRISTMAS FROM THE HILL
THE OLD MADONNA AND NEW ANGEL ARE ON EITHER ENDS OF THE MANTLE AND I FRAMED THE CHRISTMAS TREE PAINTING IN A GOLD FRAME THAT I FOUND. THE FRAME WAS HALF PRICE SO THE BARGAIN HUNTER IN ME KICKED IN.
Mother always said it was not a bargain if you did not need it and I needed this to frame my painting.
The Christmas tree is awaiting Santa to come and place presents for all us good little boys and girls. It is fun to refer to oneself as a girl but Christmas brings out the child in all of us.
Maggie awoke me at the usually but woo hoo it was thirty minutes later than usual. I got up cleaned up the kitchen clutter, took out the recyclables, wrapped the last six fruitcakes and sweep and mopped the kitchen floor. All before coffee. Then as I was enjoying the solitude of the living room and starring at the tree, Maggie attacks the feet. We have a game like slap hands, that we use our feet and she will pull her front feet back and lay her head on the floor to keep you from slapping her front paws.
When I realized that she would not give me any peace, I came to check out all the blogs I read. I was thrilled to read that Mary's eye exam when well and Deena had made it through her surgery. Now for Deena the long road of healing. I thank God each day that through this wonderful world of blogging that I met these kind ladies.
The Kitty Justice is we should be THANKFUL FOR ALL THINGS because as the old saying goes "Here today and gone tomorrow."
Peace be with all who visits today.

We got our tree from our nephew boy scouts tree sale. It makes the house smell like Christmas. Thanks for you compliments on both trees.
Peace

Sorry to hear that Geoff & family had a change of plans but perphial journeys affect us all. Yesterday I awoke and wondered what happen to my top left molar and oops it was broken and the dentist worked me in to get it ready for a crown. So today at lunch with my girlfriend out pops the temperary so now it is a trip back to have the temperary put on. I opted for a gold permanent crown as it will be stronger and last longer than porclein and besides it is the last tooth up there so if you can see it you have had to crawl into my mouth.
I wanted some precious metal or stones in some kind of jewerly for Christmas but with just our cost I will just stick my head under the tree. Merry Christmas to me.
Is this God's way of telling me to diet?
Peace

Lady Di,

How wonderful for you to mention my eye exam. It did go very well and I was extremely pleased. Thank you so much.

Also, I want to thank you for your prayers for Deena and her family. She is a dear, sweet lady and is going through a lot right now.

Thanks for reminding us that we need to enjoy what we have today for tomorrow, it may be gone.

I love your tree and your decorations. The painting is lovely. You are very talented.

Blessings and love,
Mary

Thanks for the compliment on the decorations and painting.
I just got back from the dentist and he put the temporary back on. He is young enough to be my son and he is so caring and cheerful, even when he has to come in early Saturday to fix a patient's temp.
Peace
