THE LARGE PAINTING ON THE TOP OF THE CLASSROOM WALL WAS DONE BY HAZEL WHEN SHE AND HER HUSBAND CAME BACK FROM SWITZERLAND YEARS AGO. ALSO, THE ONE WITH THE RED WITH TREES UNDER THE LARGE ONE .
MZ HAZEL SITTING FOR HER FIVE MINUTES. SHE DOES NOT STAY SITTING VERY LONG AND SHE IS UP GOING AROUND THE ROOM TO EACH STUDENT.

ROSS STARTING ONE OF MARCEL'S PHOTOS. HE GOT A LOT DONE TODAY. I HOPE TO GET A PICTURE OF THE FINISHED PAINTING.
CAROL ANOTHER ONE OF THE FINE WATER COLORIST WE HAVE AMONG OUR ARTIST FAMILY.
The two ladies sitting behind Carol are new to our family and the individual pictures I took were not good so I will try again next week. I must remember to hold the camera steady or did I have toooo much caffeine. Is there such a thing?
Our very upbeat and lively Darlene was back yesterday and it was the first time I had seen her this year. She loves to talk and thoroughly entertains us all with her tales.
Also, Nancy was there and she and I exchanged tales of our four legged loves. We are kindred sprits when it comes to loving our dogs.
Mz Hazel had more important things on her mind than our class but we tried to keep her busy and her mind occupied with our drivel instead of her son's health problems. He has the same kidney disease that took the life of his Dad and he was having his first dialysis. Eddie, her son, was born on the same day as I was only four years later, so he is only 54.
When I hear about such things, it put life in perspective in a rush.
The Kitty Justice is if you can find me in the mirror and the easel with my monkey.

Lady Di,

It looks like the entire class is having a lot of fun. I have never taken an art class except in elementary school. Mom is a very talented artist, but I was blessed with the talent of writing instead. I dream of painting and would love to be able to.

Sending you an email, my friend. Have a wonderful day.
Blessings,
Mary

I'm glad I had a few minutes to stop into see the art work. please do keep posting the paintings, they are great.

Art is what and who we are, and how we are judged by history. keep up the great work!

Peace.

That is too bad about Mz Hazel's son Eddie's medical condition. Good thing she has friends like you to try and keep her mind dwelling on OTHER THINGS!

Call me silly... but I must admit that I just love the term "WATER COLORIST" ~ jb///

I think if you picked up a brush you would fall in love with it. If you like control go with water colors, if you have lots of patience go with oil but acrylics are the most forgiving because they dry fast and if you make a mistake just paint over it.

I was so glad you got to stop by and see the beginning of Ross's painting from your photo.

Jerry
We are a hodge podge of characters and talent so we keep Mz Hazel very busy. Glad you like the term.

Lady Di,

...Are you wearing red, per chance?? I think all of the artwork is beautiful.

Love your site. I am an artist by God's gift, and don't do much with it, unfortunately. As I get older, I realize how important it is to let this gift shine through...I think I need to find a class like this where I live...thanks for the inspiration!
