PRESIDENTS' DAY
On Saturday, Mr. Lincoln came to visit the hill and check out our Log Cabin. He was quick to say it was in better shape than those he had occupied.
Mr. Lincoln had a previous engagement at a retirement home near by and was kind enough to stop by for a few photos.
The first time Prince saw Whit McMahan, he made the statement that Whit reminded him of President Lincoln. To his surprise Prince found out that Whit was a Lincoln Presenter. Whit is a member of the Association of Lincoln Presenters. You can check him out at WWW.MISTERLINCOLN.COM
I look up at the picture of President Washington each morning and ask him "What do you think about our government today?"
The Kitty Justice is that not many have Mr. Lincoln to come calling and yes he did leave his calling card nor does President Washington answer my question.
THE CALLING CARD SHOULD BE RETURNED TO ITS' GLORY.

Wow, I’m impressed. It’s not everyday a person gets to visit at their own home with a President as famous as Lincoln. I enjoyed the photos and the link.
I guess I should get a picture of Washington so I can do the same thing you do each day.
Happy President’s Day!

Lady Di,

I love the shots of the Lincoln presenter. I was once asked if I could have dinner with anyone living or dead who would it be. My answer, "Abraham Lincoln." So glad he came to call and left his calling card. I love them and often leave them in guestbooks on websites, but we can't leave them here. It's a shame.

Love the picture of Washington. I am a history buff and love this post.

As for the comment you left on my post, you are more than welcome to leave your honest opinion on my blog any day. Free speech reigns and in this case, I agree with you.

Take care and thanks so much for sharing Lincoln's visit with me. I loved it.

Blessings,
Mary

Prince just happen to mention to Whit that we had a log cabin and would he like to come and have his picture taken. Just so happens, he had a nearby engagement.
I think the Father of our Country would not be happen with all the hoopla going on.
I also have a picture in another oval frame beside Washington and it is Robert E. Lee. Can you guess what I ask him each morning?
Peace

Glad you liked our visit from Lincoln. I want to see one of Whit's programs one day as I think it would be grand way to hear history.
Don't you wonder what Washington would say if he could come back today?
I am very opinionated and sometimes folks just can't handle the kitty justice version.
Peace

The picture came from an email sent to me and I wish I had done it but I thought it looked enough like something Kitty would wear that I had to share it. I am glad you liked it. If it is sent by email I see no reason you cannot put it on your sidebar.
Peace
