Coming out of Second Creek.
Maggie checking out the earth moved to correct a problem at the dam.

Plants outside Richland Country Club. The hosta leaves were as big as my head.

Inside the club with Miss Patty, Jane and Mimi.
If Jane looks familiar, you might have seen her in Alan Jackson's new video of his song "Good Time." She had gone to farmers market downtown to buy her some flowers when she heard this loud music, so she danced into the market. Unbeknown to her she was being filmed. She was just having a good time. They told her what they were doing so she stayed and danced in the line dance. She is the lady in the purple shirt and I think she stole the show.
People she is a remarkable lady. She plays golf, does ti chi three times a week, plays tennis and still water skis. Mimi and Jane have a long history. They went to Vanderbilt, married a week apart and been in a Sewing Club for over sixty years.
Miss Patty just had her ninety third birthday and she is Jane's sister.
The Kitty Justice would be sterling silver like Jane. I really think she could run this country better than any man.

Lady Di,

Those ladies are precious. I'm so glad that Jane danced into the market and got to be in Alan Jackson's new video. I will check out CMT to see if I can spot her.

Thanks so much for all your kind words, support and prayers while Brandon has been going through this time of depression. He saw the psychologist at the farm today. He said it helped and he wasn't as depressed. He said he's been worrying about those boys and about Jordan.

I do so appreciate your love and friendship. Love your photos. They're awesome.

Blessings,
Mary

So glad Brandon is better and the trip to the farm help. Farm activity helps all of us little or big. You can go to the internet and bring up the video. I have always admired Jane and I do not admire too many people. She is a talented seamstress, just like her Mother, and she put the thrift in thrifty. That is why Washington DC needs her more than anyone else. Those good ole boys would have to be accountable and Mz Jane would take no excuses. Having lunch with those three ladies was one of the biggest treats to come home too.

Thanks. Miss Patty was the Physical Education Teacher at the all girl school, Harpeth Hall in Nashville. It was my treat to be included but I am the driver of Mz Mimi now. Gets me into places that kitty would not have the opportunity to hang out.
Hope the water is beginning to go down around y'all.

Peace to both of you.
Great photos and lovely story about the 3 ladies. My mother is 92--still living on her own and driving to the store and just being busy. She is a wonder and inspiration. MB
