Puppy spent many hours on his Mimi's shoulders.
Puppy first car. He was headed to Church to be Baptised.

Puppy turned twenty-one yesterday, June 27, 2008.
I use to hold his little hand
Now he is considered a man.
Whenever he wished to do something I did not approve
I would tell him you will have to wait until you are twenty-one.
Now the magic age has appeared
And I can only pray his lessons taught will adhere.
He has his wings and now must fly
However, he does not realize how fast the coming years will go by.
I wish him happiness on his path,
And that God will be with him until the last.
May Peace be with him today and always.
The Kitty Justice is the apron strings must be cut.

A belated happy birthday to Puppy! As a parent our jobs are never done, but we sure don’t have to worry or work as hard as we did when they were young.

Our son turns 35 in a couple or weeks. Ugh, that’s just plain scary!

I hope you are having a great weekend.

Happy late birthday to Puppy! And my apologies. I will send a card when I get back into town. I thought I had my computer reminder set for 7 days in advance for the out of town family, but I must have messed up. So Sorry. Love the Can't Remember Squat Corn Dog

Wonderful post and happy birthday. I am happy to see them grow to maturity but I sure miss the days when I could carry them with one hand on my shoulder!

Oh how correct you are about work and worry. Wishing your boy a happy burpday in advance. I am sure Blake and Nate are looking forward to the Birthday cake. Peace

From your comments to God's ear. Peace

Not to worry over the years you have given Puppy much love so you have extra credit built up here. Peace

Those were the easy days even if I did not know it at the time. When small you can protect them and keep them happier and safe. But when they enter adulthood, you just have to pray more as they enter the WORLD. Too much violence happens in Nashville to make it easy to sleep. Peace.

Lady Di,

A belated Happy Birthday to Puppy. His birthday is the same day as Griffyn's. I hope he enjoyed celebrating as much as Griffyn did. LOL

Iz stole my line. Puppy will do fine and he will make you very proud of him. We all had a few wild oats to sew when we were young.

I'm sure he thinks he has all the time in the world to live his life but tell him before he knows it he'll turn around and be pushing 60 That time goes really fast.

Take care, my friend. Thanks for commenting on Griffyn's birthday. He was such a good little guy. He only fussed once all the time we were there. Melissa doesn't know (or maybe she does) how lucky she is and she's due to give birth again in late July or early August.

Blessings for a great day.
