How many times do we look up to see a plane and never fear the sight. Today and December 7Th planes forever changed our lives.

On a happier note here is my Chocolate Solider which I put outside too early and the cool weather almost made it history. I think it has recovered very well.

A closer look. It is a member of the violet family so it cannot take cool weather. It will be the first plant I move back inside. The first one I ever saw of these was at The Hermitage, home of Andrew Jackson.

Purple Jew was looking rather ragged so I cut it off and threw all but tips over board (I now have a carpet of the stuff below the porch) It will grow very rapidly and drape over the sides. I usually put this out in the hall so I can see it from the kitchen as I work.

Close up of the Jew. Mother always had a pot of this around.
The kitty justice is for all of us to pray at least nine or eleven minutes for those that were lost on this date. Let us not forget.

I do like that one of Alan's but I like most of his. Living in Music City we see lots of country music people and everytime I have encountered him, he is just a nice guy. His Momma can be proud. Peace

Nick,
I am keeping up with you through Alex's blog. Your blog still has a tendency to lock up my computer. When I go to your blog, it make a blurp and nothing bad happens, I just cannot go anywhere else. I have to close down and start again. Miss reading your post. Peace

Lady Di,

Thank you for remembering. We all need to take time today to pray.

Love your plant. I have one as well. Jordan gave it to me last year for my birthday. I had one years ago, but lost it somehow. I'm glad to have one once again.

Take care, my friend. I must get all of my plants in today as the nights here are cold.

Blessings,
Mary

I gotta figure out what's causing your problem! Do you remember about when it began? That might help me identify whatever change was made to cause your computer to lock up.

Dear Dianne ~~ None of us will ever forget the terrible tragedy of those days. I doubt any of us will ever forget.
Thanks for your comments and I am glad you enjoyed the Grocery story and the jokes. Your plants are nice, and what an awful chore to have to bring them in for the winter. Take great care, my friend, Love, Merle.

Thanks for your comments. I do not envey you with the plants moving. I will need to do that but I am waiting for cooler weather. Today it is to be 90 and it was 70 when I got up. Seems as if one day the weathers says "Fall" and the very next day Summer says "NOT YET". Peace

Nick
This started happen after you got back on line with the blog. I will come over after I have surfer around and let you know if it is still doing that. The last time I was there it just locked the computer up and I had to sign off and back on. Peace

Merle
It is a rather unpleasant chore to move the plants in and out but when I put them out they seem to respond with happy leaves and flowers. I think if I kept them inside all the time, they would evidentually die. Peace and have a great weekend.
