Saturday morning, Prince and I went the long way to TSC to buy bird feed and corn for the wildlife. We took a small trip down the Natchez Trace to see if the Red bud trees were out and here is what we saw.
The kitty justice if you look closely at the sky, you can see the ominous clouds starting to roll into our area.

Lady Di,

I have seen photos of the Natchez Trace in spring before. I would love to visit at this time of year. Are these blossoms fragrant? Your corner of the world is beautiful right now. We won't see these blooms for awhile yet. I am looking for a new tree or shrub for my lawn. Can you tell me what these are?

Hope you've had a pleasant day.
Blessings,
Mary
Hi Lady Di, Thanks so much for popping by my blog and for leaving such a lovely comment. Your photos are wonderful, what great views you have. Have a great day (from one kitten to another) Hee Hee! X
Oh so beautiful. We don't have many redbud out here. Well the nurseries sell them but they don't perform like in the south. MB

Thanks. These are Red bud trees but I do not think they would do well in your area due to your weather. Peace

Welcome and I am glad you dropped over. Thanks & Peace

I love this time of year as purple is my favorite color. I would think they would not do well in your area due to the weather.

Yes spring has come but that hail storm knocked off most of my blooms. Darn Mother Nature. Peace

It is one of the highlights to drive the Natchez Trace in the Spring. You need to put it on your bucket list if you have not done so.Peace
