These are my pretty irises before it started raining last Thursday. According to our rain gauge on the back porch we have had five and one fourth inches of rain. We saw the sun about five minutes today but most of the day has been cloudy. At least it was not raining. Give the ground half a chance to dry up some. Our forecasters on our local channels say we will have thunderstorms tonight and chances of rain the next five days.
The kitty justice is all those pretty hats at the Iroquois Steeplechase on Saturday are gonna get wet

Lady Di,

Your iris are just beautiful. I was hoping my Black Knight iris would bloom this year, but it doesn't look like it. All of mine need transplanting. They are one of my favorite flowers.

Have a great day.
Blessings,
Mary

That is the only thing I dislike about irises, you have to thin them out and transplant them. Peace

Jerry
Thanks. I picked a bouquet of them before it rained and Mimi has enjoyed them. Peonies look like they are about to come out.

What beautiful irises. Sorry about all the rain. Here in my part of Indiana we have only had sprinkles and I am happy. We are trying to dry out so we can plant crops.

Love and Hugs,
