Alas we in middle Tennessee have been drench with heavenly water of late. Some folks even got six inches yesterday. We only got around three here, but ever time there was a break in the heavy downpour, I would tell Maggie, we need to go out to the bathroom while we have a break.
It will rain for the next few days and Sunday evening chance of heavy thunderstorms. The Harpeth River is suppose to crest at 19.5 feet and 20 ft. is flood stage. Most often you can wade across the Harpeth as it is a slow meandering stream but when it floods it surprises those who have never seen it fury before.
The kitty justice is I will be forced to watch the Kentucky Derby as we cannot go outside and play. Good duck weather here.

Those turkeys were running from Prince while he put out the corn.
The last four days we have had almost 5 inches of rain and it is still raining. Nice to be on a hill. Peace

Dear Dianne ~~ I enjoy seeing your photos of the farm and your flowers as well. Thanks for your comments about Jeanette, Pauline and myself. We had a lovely afternoon, and Gwen was very much on all our minds.
Did you get your kitchen finished yet. You sure got lots of rain. We would like some more here.
Take great care, my friend,
Love, Merle.
