This barn is on the right as you head down highway 100 to TSC. I love the way the field looks in front and how it is framed by trees on each side. It reminds me of barns that I spent time in during my youth in Smith County. I can almost feel the dirt floors under my bare feet in the middle of the barn and smell the hay in the loft. I can feel the air blowing my hair as I swing on a rope down to the ground from the hay loft.
The kitty justice is this barn hurls me back to childhood fun.

Hi Dianne ~~ Lovely old barn and I am glad you had some good memories from your childhood.
Peter and I were cute as little kids, pity what happened!!!
It is such a shame that there has been such racism in most places and
the blacks here tend to be racist.
I agree with your Mother "Treat others the way you want to be treated." We are basically all the same. Take care my friend, Love Merle. Peace to you also.

Thanks and Peace.

Old barns have charm and give us a sense of Peace.
I think that would be great, please do the pictorial of them. Peace

Merle
Ah, you and Pete are still cuties. Racism like the poor will always be with us along with damn ole Religious wars.
I think my Mother had so much right and if we could live by her rules mankind would be better off.
Peace

Lady Di,

This shot is amazing. I like the way the trees frame the photo as well. I recently took a photo of the barn I played in when I was a kid. It's been allowed to deteriorate and is nothing like it was back then. Always took a photo of Grandma's house and the one next door where I was raised. I will have to post them soon.

Blessings,
Mary
