THIS APPEARED IN THE TENNESSEAN THIS MORNING ON PAGE 11A.
I thought it was worth sharing with those who do not get our local rag.
As Senator Lamar Alexander of Tennessee said in his eNewsletter,"The two plans now before Congress to reform our health care system are good-faith efforts to find the best way to go in the wrong direction. We have to start over to get it right."
The kitty justice is to try to do it correctly not expediently.

Interesting article---one does have to 'try' to remember that tour grovenment was/is or maybe was is the right word--'of the people, for the peopleand by the people--we have to learn to run the government not let the government run us.

BTW: It is storks that bring the babies not Pelicans.
Ooh I better not get into politics as I usually dont know what Im talking about (mind you neither do the politicians LOL!) I enjoyed the pictures of Hazels 'Burpday' it looked as though everyone had a great time and the cake looked divine. Hazel looks wonderful at 90! X

Unless we all take notice the people will be placed on the back burner. Hee hee I know storks are suppose to be the ones to bring the babies but Pelicans are so much more suited for the task, don't cha think? Peace

Glad to see you back from Holiday. Hazel is an amazing woman and yes the cake was great and I had a good size piece and just felt my sugar esclate. Peace
Regarding the pelicans: I think the beak of a Pelican is better suited to cradling a baby than a stork. so you could say "the Kitty Justice is that quirkiness pays off". LOL MB

Lady Di,

I fully agree. Obama needs to tread lightly, take his time and be sure his Health Reform Bill is going to work for everyone.

Hope you have a wonderful day.
Blessings,
Mary

I really think the solution is to make Medicare available to everyone. I don't see any need to change anything.

I do wish President Obama would get us out of the war George W. Bush and his gang got us into on a lie. That costs a fortune in lives and money and now we are finally in Afghanistan where Bush refused to go after Osama bin Laden for some reason.

If he could stop the wars and bring the troops home we could have Universal Health Care for every American Citizen. Call it socialized or universal. It sure beats the scalping health care system we got now.

That is my whole point lets take our time and do it right and not have such huge bills whether it is health care or whatever before congress. I have not seen the bill but others have said it has 25 index pages and is well over an inch of reading material to decipter. Even really smart people would have trouble digesting that much fadder. Peace

I am sorry but I do not believe in socialize medicine. If my parents had had only medicare they would not have gotten the treatment they needed. They spend over one third of their monthly income to have suppimental health insurance.
As for the war, I do not feel the lives of our people should be poured down the drain. Most do not want us there so I say get out and be done with them. I think we need to fortify our soil as those ignorant fanatics are coming here and I hope we still have the ability to defend ourselves.
Neither you nor I know for sure if President Bush lied only he and God know for sure and if he did I would not wish to be him when it comes time to stand before my maker if I were he. Peace
