Looking up into a golden Hickory Tree. This giant stands in our yard.

More golden Hickory's along the driveway in our yard.

From under the Beech trees looking down the driveway on the left side. The old road is to the left before you get to the large oak.

Right below the oak tree stands a Dogwood tree. It is on the right side of the old road going down to the white barn.

I tweaked the colors on this close up so the dogwood berry would be intensely red.

This photo and the next one are closes up of the leaves of the dogwood showing the nature colors.

Again I hope you enjoy the Tennessee colors of fall. I just love Tennessee and all it's seasons.
The Kitty Justice is the wind and rain of the last few days has made lots of these leaves to fall.

Oh what beautiful colors of fall. Our leaves are turning too, but I don't have a lot of tress in our yard. I am jealous!!! Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful tree, and the leaves are such bright colors, but oh all the raking, or do you mow them and it mulches at the same time?

More beautiful fall colors. You are loaded with nice looking scenes. We are having lots of wind and the leaves are flying. I never saw so many leaves fall in one day.

Thanks for following the Sendai Japan site. I worked on adding photos to it all day today.

Lady Di,

Absolutely stunning photos. We are losing much of our fall colour to the wind. Thousands of leaves blanket the ground.

Wishing you a great weekend.
Blessings,
Mary

Glad you enjoyed the TN color. I went out today I took more even though we have at least ten tons of leaves on the yard. Peace

Glad you enjoyed the colorful trees. My FIL tried to see how many trees he could leave without cutting when he built the house in 1964. Peace

Glad you enjoy the color. We usually blow them and haul them by truck loads to places did need a little help from runoff. Peace

Yep, we had the same thing happen here. More leaves came down in the last 24 than all week long. I am app to follow most of your blogs but if I can only get to 2 it is the Japanese blog and Pix of Picels. Peace

Thanks. In Reminesces of Thomas B. Wilson there is a statement I think you would appreciate. He said that the leaves were three feet deep along the Murfreesboro Turnpike near the old homeplace "Waveland". We have lots but not that many. Peace
