The Log Cabin is ready for Puppy to move in. He will move back to the hill this month.

I never know what to do with this so this year I wrapped it in garland and hung the old sleigh bells. I wrapped the leather with red ribbon.
My favorite yard art is decorated with garland, nut wreath, red ribbons and poinsettia.

The old seeder has a grape vine wreath with poinsettia and a different bow.

Candy canes, reindeer and white tree are in my flower bed to greet folks when they come to the hill.
Just decorated the mail box yesterday and it was getting dark so I did not take a photo. It has a candy cane with greenery and red poinsettia facing the road and when you come down the driveway as you leave the hill there is a red heart with Merry Christmas painted in white.
I just CRINGE when people say "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas."
So the Kitty Justice is not to be Politically correct. MERRY CHRISTMAS

As my wife of 54 years said, above, I think you have been working too hard or it sure looks like you have been busy.

Yes, Baby Kitty is the most laid back cat I know and will put up with a lot from Audrey but he reaches a point with her where his hair stands up and he goes after her biting. I don't know if she has thicker skin than most people but he seldom draws blood but he does puncture the skin sometimes. He will start to bite on her arm or wrist and then as she goes to get up and just moves on to her leg or back. Whatever he can get.

So far he has stopped short of killing her but boy he could really do some damage and I don't think she knows that or doesn't think he would do that to her.

Dear Dianne ~~ Your decorations look wonderful. What a lot of work but you seem to enjoy doing it.
It will be nice for you to have your son close by again, but independent
in the cottage.
I am sure everyone who visits the hill enjoys their stay and will
have fond memories of their visit.
Glad you liked our photos. Jen looks well but cannot see very much yet.I do hope it comes good for her. Our sight is so important
Take care, my friend, Love, Merle
Peace to you too. Merry Christmas.

I have always worked hard and really know no other way of life. I am one of those folks "Get her done". I do believe at times Grandma Christian complusive gene hits me in the back of the head. Ah, the NO FEAR of youth. Maybe he will never really hurt Audrey. Peace

Merle
Thanks. It was lots of work but now folks can be greeted with Christmas cheers as soon as they arrive. Yes it will be wonderful to have Puppy near but I cut the apron stings when he left for college so he will have all the independences he desires. Take care and Merry Christmas. Peace

Lady Di,

I always love the way you decorate your hill. I love the machinery and the way you spruce it up for Christmas. Very pretty.

I read the previous post and Oliver is going to do a fabulous job of displaying the crepe myrtle.

Wishing you a great weekend.
Blessings,
Mary
