This photo was taken in May 2008 as I came out of the May Art Ventures luncheon. The buildings are much larger than they appear. We refer to them as the Bullet Building and the Batman Building. Last month a French Magazine named the Batman Building in the top twelve buildings in the world. Wow!
When you say Nashville people automatically think of country music but now you can also think Batman. Building of course.
On NFL football at night when the Titans play at home, watch for our famous building.
The kitty justice is you never know what else you might see of Nashville.

Of course I remember photos in black and white. I remember the story about the little girl looking at old photos with her Mother and asking when did everything change into color. That would be strange and a smart kid to think of that. LOL MB

PS. Has anyone actually seen the Batman sign on the huge building? Holy Mackeral!!

These two buildings seem to dominate the town. Like every city that 'respects' itself , Nashville also has one or two outstanding buildings which make the inhabitants proud. Good picture!

Next time we come through Nashville, I'll have to look around for those buildings.

Glad to hear you remember black and white photo. The beginning of colored film was remarkable to me. Bell South built the building and was bought out by AT&T and that is the sign ontop now. It just looks like Batman especially at night. I do not know why someone did not build a Robin also. Peace

The Batman one is the building that says "Hey you're in Nashville." Thanks.Peace

I hope you are going through at night so you can see how spectacular the lights make it look. Peace

Unseen, Glad you like the photo but they are not roses but geraniums. Which just happens to be one of my favorite flowers. Peace

I will have to look for the Batman building. I don't think I have seen it yet. I have seen the Tennessee Titans though and enjoy their games but like the Tennessee college football team games the best.
