Looking down at the water, be sure to click to enlarge to check out the cars on the road so you can get a perspective.

Zoomed in on the water. Just a few of the photos taken because I do not have time to put them all here. heehee
Had a wonderful Mothers Day except when the dishwasher burned up. Lucky, it tripped the breaker so no fire broke out. I called Maytag and it was covered under the 10 year recall. NOT!!!!! I got the wiring harness then set up a date for the repairman to come and then was informed it was the circuit board and not the recall part and if I wanted him to fix it , it would cost over two hundred and he could not guarantee it would work one day. WHAT?????? So after waiting to get my dishwasher fixed for free on the recall, I had to go out and find a new one. It will match the new frig and stove top we put so the only old appliance we will have now is the stove. Maybe I should not have mentioned that. We have had doctor appointments and dentist appointments while trying to get Puppy some furniture moved in as his room mate is moving out and a new one is moving in the house near campus. All the visits to the doctors came out great so now we can move on to other things. With all the rain we have had it has been a constant challenge to find a window of opportunity to mow the week of the eleventh and then the sun came out this week. I have planted and weeded and weeded and planted and weeded again. Still the fence row beckons us to finish it. We have not just worked but had fun with friends and family, plus a quick trip to the lake for racking leaves and planting a few things there. Also, we picked up a coffee table which was Dad's and carried it to Puppies for his living room. Our friend Gil was the biggest help as he left a couch and dining room suit and a folding table that Puppy could use for the little house. Prince called him and thanked him for making Puppy's house comfortable with furniture. Gil seems very happy being back in his home state of Alabama.
Well just wanted y'all to know that kitty is well and still kicking. That is real Kitty Justice.

Wishing the sun will stay out for the Steeplechase. Good luck, Good Night Shirt because if he wins, it will be his 3rd year in a row.
They have eaten and gone on their way. The last two days I have not seen any Rose Breasted Grosbeaks.

Kitty in her hat at the last Art Ventures meeting. I could wear this today but not the shoes I had on. Rubber boots would be the ticket today. Which would only make the hat look silly. I have never been to the Steeplechase but my hats would fit right in. Of course, I would photo all the handsome horses but as for the race, I prefer something with a BIG ENGINE. However, I would have the most fun doing one of my favorite pastimes when I am among a crowd. "PEOPLE WATCH."
I really think most of the folks are interested in the partying and hat and outfit show. All those ladies who have planned their outfits will really have to rethink the head gear and foot attire. Those high heels would mire up in and hold them in place or maybe they will just carry the shoes in their hand to show.
The Kitty Justice is that it just might be a good day for the chase after all.

Sam Cat is the king under the bed.
Most of the days we have been all wet and lots of fog.

Today was clear with sun shine. I drove to the eye doctor without sun glasses so I could get the full effects of the sun.
The kitty justice is I am still having fun with the new toy. Be sure to click on the photos to enlarge.

These are my pretty irises before it started raining last Thursday. According to our rain gauge on the back porch we have had five and one fourth inches of rain. We saw the sun about five minutes today but most of the day has been cloudy. At least it was not raining. Give the ground half a chance to dry up some. Our forecasters on our local channels say we will have thunderstorms tonight and chances of rain the next five days.
The kitty justice is all those pretty hats at the Iroquois Steeplechase on Saturday are gonna get wet

Shrimp Curried Eggs
STUFFED EGGS:
8 Hard boiled eggs, halved
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. curry powder
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
SAUCE:
2 Tbsp. margarine
2 Tbsp. flour
1 ten oz. can of cream of shrimp soup
1/2 soup can milk
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheese
1 cup small, cooked shrimp ( I use about 2 cups)
TOPPING:
1 cup fresh bread crumbs
1 Tbsp butter or margarine
STUFFED EGGS: Mash egg yolks and mix with remaining ingredients. Fill egg whites with mixture and arrange eggs halves in rectangular baking dish. SAUCE: Melt margarine and add flour gradually, making a paste. Slowly add soup and milk and cook until thick. Add cheese and stir until melted. Add shrimp. Pour sauce over eggs in baking dish. TOPPING: Saute bread crumbs in butter. Sprinkle over top of casserole. Bake in 350degree oven until thoroughly heated about 25 minutes. This is a delicious brunch or luncheon entree. It will serve six. Serve with a favorite green, mine being fresh asparagus and a light lemon dessert.
The Kitty Justice is that I do not remember if I have given you this recipe but if I have just say "CAT FUZZIES" and come back another day.

zoom on the new toy. Prince was delivering food for the wild life.

two turkeys new toy used.
Alas we in middle Tennessee have been drench with heavenly water of late. Some folks even got six inches yesterday. We only got around three here, but ever time there was a break in the heavy downpour, I would tell Maggie, we need to go out to the bathroom while we have a break.
It will rain for the next few days and Sunday evening chance of heavy thunderstorms. The Harpeth River is suppose to crest at 19.5 feet and 20 ft. is flood stage. Most often you can wade across the Harpeth as it is a slow meandering stream but when it floods it surprises those who have never seen it fury before.
The kitty justice is I will be forced to watch the Kentucky Derby as we cannot go outside and play. Good duck weather here.
