An unusual look for my SIL's back yard in Jackson, MS.
Look how deep it was on the picnic table and chairs.

Her tiny dog Cricket did not know what to think of the nasty white stuff. I think she is looking for Mother earth or maybe taking a big bite out of the cold blanket.
My nephew took lots of photos. I do believe this is the deepest snow they have had in his lifetime (thirty and counting).
The kitty justice is the snow was beautiful but gone quickly that far south.

The snow in both pictures is amazing, even a bit on the funny side.
Good capture of the dog taking a bite of the snow!

Dear Dianne ~~ Great pictures and I am glad the snow melted quickly.
It is still very cold for you so hope it soon improves.
Glad you liked the story and jokes.
Take great care, my friend, Love, Merle.
Unusual for sure and love the dog:):)

I can't believe they got that much snow that far south! They must be freezing with no winter coats. I bet the only one enjoying it is Cricket.

My SIL said it was great for photos and not on the roads so they could get about on their routines. It was fortish today and the sun was out but the wind would slice off a pound of flesh when you went outside. We are usually in the fifties by now. Peace

One of those once in a life time snows. Peace

Thanks. The header is a photo I took one morning of the sun rise. We get a great view of sun rises on the hill. Peace

At least their snow came and went quickly with only fond memories left behind. Peace
Oh snow! While you are have icky weather we are having the mildest winter on record. What's the deal? I think last year we had so much snow--we even had snow in April. Now all our flowers are blooming and yesterday it was in the mid 50s and the sun was shinging.

I agree the snow makes for wonderful photo ops--only in the country though.

Stay warm. MB
