Another photo of Aunt Byrd when she was young.
Photo of Gertrude Houghton, who was one of Aunt Byrd's friends. I think the outfit is wonderful.

This is a tiny photo of Byrd and Gertrude.
The names were written on the back of this photo so that is why I new the second photo was Gertrude.
The kitty justice is that we have her photo and name but nothing else have I come across about Gertrude Houghton.

Gorgeous photos. Such elegant outfits. What a wonderful era. You are lucky to have these pictures and the fact someone wrote the names on the back sure is a plus.
Now do some research on gertrude. ok? MB

Thanks, I also agree about the outfits. I will keep my eye out for anything on Gertrude. Maybe in some of Aunt Byrd diaries she mentions her. Peace

Hello Dianne ~~ I love the old photos
of your Aunt Byrd and her friend and her parents. It just looks like a gentle time with their lovely clothing and serene faces.
Thank you for your comments about
my recent assessment, which I asked for, The Winter of our Lives is too true to be funny isn't it? Glad you got a smile from the jokes.
Take care my friend, Love, Merle.

I love your photos of Aunt Byrd and Uncle Owen. My family is related to Byrd and Owen both. Richard Douglas (B. 1860) was a cousin of Owen and is our great-great grandfather.
