Brenda sent these photos to me in a Spring time card. The above photo is of their lighted dogwood tree. I looks like a giant white lace tablecloth has been draped over it when they turn on the nights at night. Mimi can see it out her bedroom window so when they flip the switch, Brenda says "Turning on the lights for Mimi."
She is so very thoughtful of my MIL.
The males were outside in Brenda's front yard when she took this photo. If you have ever watched turkeys, you will know they are in their little dance routine. We enjoy their antics and are entertained daily with the "gobble, gobble, gobble" songs.
As I was moving out plants which are hardier than some I have wintered over in the basement and washed out pots on the bottom back porch, I was sung to all yesterday afternoon.
The kitty justice is life should be blessed with more folks like our neighbors and birds that sing to you.

Never heard or watched turkeys...think I would enjoy it.
It is a blessing to have such thoughtful neighbors and of course having singing turkeys is a treasure in itself. LOL MB
Oh how I love seeing male Turkeys this time of year. They are so feisty!!!!! Great picture...

I enjoy keeping the windows open these days so that I can hear all of the birds singing... It's wonderful to wake up in the morning to their songs!!!!

I also love to hear the birds sing and to be awaken by their songs is a priceless beginning to your day. Male Turkeys are so funny with their strutting around. I love how the beards get red and the heads take on a pale blue color. Peace
