This photo was taken a week before the ones below. It is amazing how much happens in nature in one week. Yes that is a flock of turkeys in the field.
Most of the hardwood trees are beginning to get the green lacy tops . This is a view from the top porch looking at Jackson's hill.
The big green tree in the middle is in our neighbor's backyard. The old pear tree is in our yard and I took this photo at the end of our top porch.
This was taken a week after the first photo. Notice how much greener every thing happens to be. Our oaks are beginning to lace out and then we will be bombarded by those nasty stringy oak blooms. They have a tendency to attach to your shoe strings and get carried inside.
The kitty justice is the undergrowth of the forest has already turned green so now it is time for the trees.

Hi Dianne ~~ Loved all your photos and it is amazing the changes a week
can make. I hope yoour mini winters are over and everything starts to bloom. I loved your neighbors tulips and also the trick you played on your nephew. You may not be his favorite aunt any more.
Thanks for your good wishes for my laser stone crushing op next Monday. I will be relieved when it is over. Take care dear friend.
Love and Peace. Merle.
I love to see before and after pictures... It is amazing how much things can change this time of year in only a week. WOW!!!!!

Our trees have not started to leaf yet.... Maybe next week --if it stays warm.
Hugs,
Betsy
I have a plum tree that budded, bloomed and leafed within a week...too fast if you ask me. I prefer to drag spring out whenever possible.
I love the greening of any area. I say we have so much green it is obscene. LOL It is amazing to notice so many different colors of green there are. Lovely shots.

I like all the cherry trees too. MB

I am happy to show my love of nature in my photos. I also love the many shades of green we have in our state. Thanks for sharing your favorite color. Peace

Merle
Yes when the green begins to show it is like a waterfall where time is concerned. I might not be his favorite aunt anymore but he still is my favorite nephew.(Even if is blood runs Alabama red) Peace

Betsy
Your weather always runs just a little behind ours, so you should see green shortly. Peace

Monica
I agree Spring is usually much too short. Some years is as if we go directly from winter to summer. Not fond of times. Peace

I don't think you can ever have too much green and it is one of the colors that brings about peace and serenity in my soul. I just love all the different shades and consider myself fortunate to live in such a beautiful state. Peace
