Looking out the windows near the front door. It rained a little over thirty minutes yesterday but enough to water the plants and lawn. I still had to get out this morning early and water the plants which are under the eves. I pulled a few weeds and planted the zinnia seeds. Better late than never.
Well Kitty came in looking like a field hand. I was soaking wet and dirty. If we do not get more rain this week, I will have to get out really early in the mornings before the staggering heat and humidity to water plants.
The kitty justice is to be thankful for what little rain we got as others are not getting any.

Since I forgot to post the instructions on Sunday, I will post six of them today.
These are from Life's Little Instruction Book by H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

13. Learn to make great chili.
14. Plant flowers every spring.
15. Own a great stereo system.
16.Be the first to say "Hello".
17. Live beneath your means.
18. Drive inexpensive cars, but own the best house you can afford.

Dear Dianne ~~ I am glad you got some rain, and hope you get more.
I liked the Life Instructions.
i did enjoy the visit from my brother and also his daughter. They are stranded in Victoria due to the Volcanic Ash from Chile. It is unsafe to fly through it so it will be a couple of days at least. I suggested they come back here for a day or so. Take care dear friend. I wish you enough always. Love and Hugs, Merle.
What a gorgeous view! Makes me want to walk right out to see what is around the corner.

Wow, that ash blew a long way if I remember my geography. Glad you like the life instructions. That would be an extra treat if they came back by for a small stay. Peace

Thanks and I feel fortunate that my FIL found this hill back before WWII and bought it. Peace

I like several of these... even IF... I don't necessarily live by them. ~ j///b
