I got the above photo in an email and it made me lol so I hope it does the same for you.

Mimi is home and getting stronger daily. We will have some home health for awhile until her strength returns.
Man it is gonna be HOT in the south today. With the heat index here, it will feel like 104-110 degrees. Yesterday afternoon our thermometer in the kitchen read 103.1 but that was not the official temperature for Nashville. They should measured it on the hill. Tomorrow we are suppose to reach 100 degrees with a heat index of 110 or more. Yikes. It is not time for dog days of summer yet.
Wasps anyone? I got rid of 10 nest EACH at our house and the cabin yesterday. Fastest can in the south. One of the buggers stung Prince so their time Up in my book.Just call me Kitty Terminator.

I haven't seen any wasp nests around here this year --so far, but need to look!!!

Glad Mimi is doing better and getting stronger...

Hot here too---not much yard work for us today!!!!

Eat prunes, huh??? I like prunes --but seldom eat them...

Hugs,
Betsy
We don't seem to get them or at any rate I have never seen one.

The ones we had were building on the north side and east side. I watered early this morning. We are awaiting the first visit from home health. I did not agree with prunes either. Remember this is a father writing instructions for his son going away to college. Peace

No wasp in AZ. Hum might have to move there. How about ticks? Wasp are nasty flying bugs that have a stinger that they can wear you out with. MY hate for them was when I was five and one got me on the arm. Pa put some of his chewing tobacco on it to draw out the poison. I now like to capture the lone wasp with scissors and cut them into. If there are several I get out the spray cans. I prefer the ones that will shot 20 ft but Prince got the ones that only shot 10 feet. Peace

So you want us to call you Kitty Terminator? LOL.
To instruction 75 Rida a bike, I would add: Wear a helmet while riding a bike. It seems to me an important addition.

Dear Dianne ~~ I am so sorry that Mimi had another trip to hospital, but glad she is home again and will be doing some therapy to get stronger The best of luck to her.
Loved the "innocent" baby photo. LOL. Not too many wasps around here I'm glad to say.
I am glad you liked the 57 cent story - it was very popular and we all like blonde jokes, possibly blondes don't. Take care my friend.
Wishing you enough. Peace and Love,
Merle.

Thank you for visiting my blog and for the comment you left.

We almost always have a paper wasp nest or a hornets nest. I haven't seen one this year.
That photo is too funny-I feel like that a lot of times! It has been HOT here too- a nice rain would be wonderful!

Thanks for the kind words. I am happy to hear you do not have too many wasp. I just hope I got them all, if not I will have to put on my terminator suit again. Peace

Abe

I am glad you found the saying funny. I too have those moments and it struck me as very funny. Wishing you some rain to fall your way. My SIL in Jackson said she has had a couple of evening showers lately. Peace
