This is Maie Spears Lindsley on September 1, 1915. She is Mimi's Mother. We got to talking about her when we took a desk out of the basement to go with Mary Kim to her new apartment at the University of Alabama. The desk was a wedding present from family in Cincinnati, Ohio. It was painted back in the sixties to match Bep's bedroom furniture. I printed a copy of the photo along with the above information so that Mary would know this was her great grandmothers furniture.
The kitty justice is to provide any historical information to future generations.

I enlarged the picture and she is very pretty but her bouquet is just exquisite! Good idea Kitty...

Kudos to you for passing on family & genealogical information to the younger generation!

Thanks. I love history and like passing it on so others will know their family history. Peace
Wow---what an incredible photo. It's great that Mimi is still there for you to talk to ... That's where the stories are helpful... Get her stories written down for future generations. I didn't ask enough questions of my family when they were still here on this earth. I have so many questions now --and they are gone and cannot answer them...

Hugs,
Betsy
A beautiful portrait of a lovely bride. Show us the desk too. MB

Thanks. It is good to have someone still around to ask questions. My parents are gone and I too wish I had asked more questions. Peace

The desk spent over 30 years in the basement and it was not clean so I did not take any photos. Mary Kim has it on the way to Alabama. Peace

LOL, I cam back and hovered and found it. I think it might be the color you changed it to, or you clicked something that said make transparent. I know I'm also dangerous, that's why I don't like changing my blog too often. LOL
