Looks really long without walls.
Jackson Hill and you could see the old road going into the farm house.
Uncle Jack's house in the background and the little house to the left was Mimi and Lewis's first home.
You can see more of the old house and the foundation for the new house.
These photos were taken when the house was being built back in November 1964. At that time Bellevue was still on the outskirts of Nashville and the maze of sub division had not been thought about. It was before TVA came along and put in a huge power line in our view.
The kitty justice to have this view again, we would have to cut lots of trees and bull doze lots of houses in the valley.

Oh how progress can sometimes just ruin everything... That area is just gorgeous... Too bad it is now full of other homes, TVA lines, etc... Dang it!!!!

Great pictures.

Well at least with all the trees you can feel secluded I reckon. MB

It such a pleasure to approach your blog! It has a most beautiful design, a combination of warm colors, and very esthetique shapes.

'If you can't beat it, join it'. We can't stop progress so we should reach some sort of compromise with it.
