We have two Magnolia trees and the blooms are way up near the tops.
The kitty justice is you either love the smell or you are overcome by the fragrant.

I love the smell...and the beauty of the blossoms AND the leaves.
Besides the smell of Gardenias, Magnolia blooms are also one of my favorite fragrances. We used to bring one blossom into our office when I was working in Texas (for 12 yrs)each morning, put it in water, and the office would smell heavenly all day long.

Hugs,
Betsy

Hi Dianne ~~ The magnolias are beautiful. I wish I could smell them, but sense of smell has gone, just hope taste doesn't follow.
Glad you liked the photos of my birthday fun. I am feeling so much better now I am on 2 cans of Ensure a day.
I am chewing nuts here as the dietician wants me to gain weight. Me too, but it is not easy. Hope you are back to your brightest best dear friend. Wishing you enough, Love and Peace, Merle.

Beautiful! Since I have been living in this apartment I miss looking outside and seeing trees.
Beautiful, beautiful!!! I have a Saucer Magnolia but it is not scented like the one you show. I love it anyway. MB

Sorry about the sense of smell. My MIL complaints of the same loss. If I could send you some of my pounds, I would gladly have my extra baggage. Peace

I often just read your facebook and blog but do not take time for comments. Hope the lost kitty has been found. Peace

Saucer Magnolia are beautiful but often times here, a frost will come along and turn the blooms black. These bloom later and seem to like the TN climate best. Peace
