This photo was taken close to six thirty Sunday morning. The fog was so enchanting in the valley. I watch the silky foggy fingers begin to rise and float to the northwest.
We had more rain in the last 9 days than we had all of the previous 77 days. But now the rain is history and it is hot and muggy outside. I got out at seven thirty this morning to pull weeds and stayed out until eleven . Everything I had on looked like I had stood under a shower. I peeled my clothes off and took a refreshing shower and now I plan to hide in the house for the rest of the day.
The kitty justice is I have just enough energy to stay on the computer . See yawl.

Hi, Same thing here.... LOTS of rain and now NONE. And it has gotten hot and humid again... Gag!!!!

Beautiful picture... Remember to count the number of fogs during August.. That is supposed to tell us (at least here on the Plateau) how many snows we'll get during the winter....

Hugs,
Betsy

I did so enjoy the rain when it was here. It would not be so bad with these temps if only the air was not the kind you wear. Ah, if only that folklore was true about the fogs. My Grandmother on Mom's side of the family was an expert on folk lore and she believed them too. Peace

We've finally got a clear sky, too; and from all reports and predictions the status quo shall remain for the next week at least.

Love the photo, Miss Kitty! :)
