Added Roadblocks

These three OLD chairs sit in our hallway and are fitted together like a puzzle without any glue or nails, which makes them very fragile.
However, people will invariability sit in them and I have to explain that they should not be sat upon as they could fall. Which would dump the occupant out and that could hurt them. Also, people put coats, hats, packages, etc to rest on them.
I thought about getting some ropes like they use in Church to block off a section of pews but settled on some objects I had in the house.
The Kitty Justice is that the objects still have not stopped either people or items landing in the chairs. I need to steal some ropes from the Church or add barb wire.

People are incredible...and so bloody predictable!

I love the chairs, Lady Di. Even if you put the largest sign in the world up telling people not to sit in the chairs...they still would! They just can't help themselves!

I tested them out years ago...years and years ago when I was about 17...I was working for a law firm, my first job...and I'd found an old light switch cover. As a joke just to test the above theory, I stuck it down to the reception counter of the firm's office...and I typed out a sign that said "Please Do Not Touch" and stuck it next to the switch. I told my co-workers to watch what would happen as clients came in for their appointments. Everyone of them saw the switch...and yes...they had to touch it to see if it worked or what it did!!!! Twits! ;)

Thanks. Great Uncle Owen had these made so they are really old and I would hate to see them broken. Peace
