Little Brother's Day

HAPPY BURP DAY LITTLE BROTHER. IT IS YOUR DAY.
I was six years old when he was born and I had reigned as the baby of the family and I was not looking forward to him invading my world. We lived on Alfred Mark's farm (BIL to Al Gore Sr.) and the ambulance brought Mother down the hill and behind it was Amanda C Marks, Alfred's wife carrying a big straw basket with a yellow blanket in it.  I was excited to see what the hoopla was all about a baby boy and I ran to the ambulance and only Mother was inside. I wanted to see the baby and Mrs. Marks laughed and said come over here, he is in the basket. She pulled back the blanket and I peered over the edge to see the red squalling baby. My first thought "I can not believe everyone is so happy to have this red, ugly, loud, squirming thing come live with us."
The Kitty Justice is he is still 2 out of the 4 but I would not trade him for anything.

Duta advised that I needed to approve comments before they were published as there was someone spamming blogs. So I went in and changed how comments were posted. Thus why your first comment did not show up after you had written it. Little Brother really rocked my world after being the baby for six years. I think being in the middle is really a good thing. My parents learned on my Big Sis what to do and not to do and then when Little Brother came along I was left to my own devices (some good some bad lol)Peace

I was the first born, and three more came after me, so I always felt like I had to do most of the work. LOL

With our own children, we had a girl, 11 mos. later we had a boy, 14 mos. later we had another girl, then I had two major surgeries, four years later another girl, then I thought I had finally figured out my problem, LOL, when the fourth one was 11 and the others were 15, 16, and 17, I found I was pregnant again. Needless to say I wasn't too happy at first and I had morning sickness a lot. But it's all turned out okay.

Have a wonderful Mother's Day Sunday.

Hahaha! Good story! I was the "little sister"...my brother was two and a half years older than me...and often reminded me of the fact! :)

But I was told that when I was born he was thrilled to pieces - I think that attitude changed after a couple of years! lol

Glad you liked the little history. My brother and I were not too close until we started hunting together and then we were like peas in a pod. Peace
