My Mother always had these in her yard and so did my Pa. Pa always referred to them as "Pretty By Nights".Therefore, when I stroll out in the front yard and gaze upon this flower, I feel Mother and Pa standing with me . I think yellow is a Happy Color. The Kitty Justice is I am really HAPPY WHEN I SEE THIS BLOOMING IN MY YARD.
I have never heard of a four-o-clock being called that! It is amazing how the names of flowers change in different parts of the country. Well these are like a rose-by any name they are smelling good this time of year!
4'oclocks a really old fashioned flower. I did plant some last year and they did come up but not very tall. They are pretty though. A perfect reminder of your loved ones. MB
My granddaughter's favorite color is yellow! When I ask her what her favorite color is, she replies, "ello." She's three, and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that she would LOVE this flower too. What great memories it evokes with you...a blessing and treasure. Hugs, Jackie
