New Horizon Luncheon

The lovely lady on the left is my friend, Beverly. We met when she was a guest speaker for our Garden Club. We had lots in common so we fast became friends. She is the same age as Mimi but she is still very active at the Nashville Woman's Club. I was unable to sit with her as she was on the first table because she gave the devotional. Yes at each meeting we have a devotional and we say the Pledge of Allegiance to our Flag (the grand old Stars and Stripes. We do put our hands over our heart to honor the flag. These ladies know how to act.
The speaker, Tamera Alexander,  was the author of many historical novels. These two are about Nashville's Belmont and Belle Meade. Since Mimi did not have any new books to read, I gave them to her to read first.
The Kitty Justice is Mimi is enjoying her visit to Belmont.
When she makes reference to where she is, she states "I am still at Belmont." Cute, huh.

Wonderful! And it's nice to see ladies acting like ladies. I hope the younger generations continuing acting that way...life is meant to be good and nice....some just don't understand it to be so.
"I am still at Belmont". I love it very aristocratic. I am glad you still have a prayer and salute our grand flag---it is proper. MB

She is lovely, indeed.
I'm so glad that you have devotional and say the pledge at your meetings.
Thank you for that...

She has finished the book on Belmont so I guess it is off to Belle Meade. It feels so good to continue a lovely tradition. Peace

It would be wise if other organization and our government did the same. Peace
