This is the largest buck I ever harvested and I was very proud because little ole me, went into the woods by myself one November morning and I was such a crack shot(I would usually bring one down with one shot) I did not check my rifle before I headed out. It took 3 shots to bring him down but the third one he went down like a rock. (Other hunters have to track down the deer because they run off not to brag but I never did) There was no way this 110 lb girl  could drag the deer out of the woods, so I located another hunter and he did the honors for me. I put him in the trunk of my 1973 Nova and proudly drove around Smith County.
The Kitty Justice is I miss those early mornings high up in a tree watching the world come alive.

I was too and I drove around with that big buck showing him off because non of my male family members have ever gotta one that big. Also when I think back to a hunt at Land Between the Lakes, well it was an either sex hunt and I harvested a doe (their meat is better) and I went back to truck laid down and slept and listened to the rain as my brother and another male friend kept hunting. They also went back the next day as it was a managed 2 day hunt and I got to stay home in the warm house. Now that makes my smile bigger than harvesting this buck. Peace
You go girl. That's a bigger buck than the one Bob got this year.
I'd miss those mornings too. MB
