Pretty Bloom

In the library, this little plant has decided to give me a few blooms to cheer me through the cold weather. This is the first one but alas there are more to come. The poinsettias are cheering up the hallway. I look forward to the glorious colors of spring yelling "we are back baby."
Old Lady Winter is smacking us in the face with gusty breath and chilly fingers. The next four days are to be very frigid.
I have a big pot of vegetable soup on the stove and will keep a log on the fire and just stay comfy and warm.
The Kitty Justice is to see how few times I go outside.

I'm with you, stay indoors in front of the log burning, sounds nice and comfy.

Your cactus is just beautiful.
I know that it warms your heart to see it.
And...I'll be over for a cup o'that vegetable soup.
When's supper?
Hugs,
Jackie

Thank you. I sure hope ole lady winter heads back to the far north soon. Way too cold for the South. Peace

I just love the Christmas Cactus. They seem to pop out blooms when ever they are happy.
I made a big pot of stew yesterday---very warming to the soul---not to mention the belly too. LOL

Just the thought of hot soup makes me sweat! I love soup but our weather at present isn't hot soup weather...even though the weather is a bit like hot soup! ;)
