Antonio's

 The following was the response to my complain that the server did not advise us of the price of the specials. Our party of six had gotten there at the Early Bird hours and assumed that the specials like most other establishments would be similar to  the early bird menu prices. NOT. Even worse, we were not picking up the check but Prince's  95 year Mother was  because she had all her children out to dinner. We were told by members of the family that the reason the bill was so high was because of our meals. Mimi said it did not MATTER as she was happy to be out with all her children.
It mattered to Prince and I so, we offered to pay our part but she would have none of that, therefore, I wrote Antonio's and complained that there was no price listed on a outside board of the specials nor did the waiter give us the price. Only thing listed on the board in the lobby was wine and not even those had a price beside them.
Antonio wrote this e mail on June 28th at 8:12. I read it on Sunday late as most of us have other things to do than go to the computer on SUNDAY.  Therefore we would have a total of one day to use the coupon. What a laugh.
The Kitty Justice is to NEVER EVER ORDER A SPECIAL WITHOUT KNOWING HOW MUCH IT WILL COST NO MATTER IF IT IS THE EARLY BIRD HOURS OR NOT.
BTW: IT WAS NOT EVEN THAT SPECIAL TO EAT. LESSON  LEARNED.

Our Early Bird Menu is a separate menu from our regular dinner menu.  Not all items on the menu are discounted which is why we have a separate Early Bird Menu.  Our Daily Specials are special features for the evening and are also separate from our regular dinner menu.  Each customer who arrives during Early Bird hours is given two menus to choose from and the servers describe our Special Features of the evening.   

When we opened for business 20 years ago, our servers would announce the price of the Specials when describing the delicious features of the day and we received a lot of negative feedback because so many of our customers took offense to being told the price.  Therefore, we decided it would be best to simply describe our Special Features and those customers who wanted to know the price before ordering could ask - therefore not offending those who did not want to be told.  

We sincerely hope that you will be in again soon and you can take advantage of this coupon before the end of the month.

Always ask questions---as you say 'lesson learned'.
The reason the cat has a sweater on is my girls---even though they are grown they like to dress up the cats a dogs. Sometimes it is hilarious and sometimes the animal loves it too.
PS: you may paint the pretty Church anytime. LOL

the hard part was that it was at my MIL expenses. I would have still been upset if we paid for it but not as much as I was since she was paying for our meal. Made me really feel BAD. Silly girls. Puppy sometimes wants to put things on Maggie and but most often it is just a neck cloth. Thank you and someday you might see the Church on my blog. Peace

Maggie is now beginning to feel better and tried to pull me over the yard today(7-3) Not good since she is only to go out to potty. This weekend, I think I will give that job to the guys.
Yep the worse was it was not my money that paid for the meal. Peace
