Zinnas

Back in 2012, our neighbor Brenda brought us a big vase of these beautiful Zinnias.
She said they were Heirloom Zinnias so I saved the seed. Mimi likes the little miniature Zinnia so last year I did not plant any because I had a flower bed of full little volunteer miniatures. This year no volunteers showed up so I planted those seeds I saved. They have valiantly produced even though I have been unable to do any weeding. I planted some morning glories that were given to me and the plants were not happy where I put them so they seem rather pitiful however, I still have some seeds left so I am gonna plant them next spring.
The Kitty Justice is if you store your seeds correctly it does not matter if they are two years old.

They were one of my Grandpa's favorites. He loved Zinnias, Marigolds, and Pretty By Nights (Four O'Clocks). Mother always had red and yellow Four O Clocks and I have the yellow in my yard. Peace
