Fall

I brought out some fall decorations for the dining room table. I found the little bird while The Pope and I went shopping in Springfield. When we worked together, we would shop together all the time. If you saw one of us in the store, well you would see the other one. We figured it out and it had been forty years, yep forty years, since we had gone shopping together. It was like we had stepped back in time and not missed a beat. If you look closely, you can see the bird's wings and back are oak leaves. My MIL thought it would look better without the glitter but I think not as it enhances it's appearance. I had intended to change the candles from pink to green but alas, not enough green candles in the house. I also wanted some new one and half inch diameter pillar candles for the candle holders in the living room. We stopped at the Hallmark shop in Belle Meade and there was not any one and half inch pillar candles. Rats, I even checked the internet and seems there are not any to be found.  I did find the color green for the dining room but they only had ten candles and I need twelve. If possible I also like to pick up 4 extra ones  of the same color because that is how many I have on the table and we always burn those. They ordered the willow green color and I am waiting for them to call and say they have gotten them in stock. Prince goes by that shop twice a day so it will be a problem to pick them up.
The Kitty Justice is to put out a display that will work all of fall and then I can change it for Christmas.
BTW Am I the only one who would like to push back all the decorations in the stores, until the SEASON?
