Dropping Temps

I took this photo this morning at six thirty as I figure this may be the bright spot of the day. The temp on the hill was sixty degrees when i awoke and the weather man has said that is the warmest it will be all day. This is one of those days that the temp continues to fall.
As I looked Northwest this morning, you can see one of our neighbors trees covered in green lace. Look closer and the old broken and twisted pear trees have some blooms. We have had three magnificent days and I can only hope the rain does not last for several days.
The Kitty Justice is that rain is predicted in order for those in the weather business to cover their a--.

I wish the temps would drop here...we're supposed to be in for a cooler weekend...I hope so!
If any comfort you are not alone. I still have snow everywhere, even though we had a few days in the 40's. Today is rain and for the next week it is warming up in the 40's. Can't wait to see grass. I remember one winter I stayed at my hotel in Saluda NC, Remember looking at a dogwood tree every morning as I drank coffee, watching every green bud. Hang in there life is interesting. yvonne

It's cold and damp here today. Sun has tried to shine several times, then we had a few snow flakes. Had to go in for my CMS test this morning, something Medicare wants done. Then came home and ate some breakfast, since I had to fast to have my regular blood work done. Abe and I both forgot about his 11am appointment to get his haircut. So the barber called, said he could work him in at 11:45, I dropped him off, then ran two errands. Came home warmed up some black eyed peas and corn bread, that was our lunch. Supper will be left over pork roast with pork gravy from a can and either we will put it over toast, or mashed potatoes or both. LOL Have slaw left from yesterday and some coconut cream pie. That will be suppertime here in Brookville. I think I need to turn up the heat, it's darn chilly sitting here at the computer. Have a great week-end.

I would love to send you some cooler weather so you would not be so hot. Peace

Mother Nature is such a tease with the warm weather then smacks ya with a cold snap. We were 26 here this Saturday morning and it got up to 53 degrees with sun but once you stepped outside the wind would say "it is not as warm as it looks kid'. Peace

Patty
Is it not funny (not the haha kind) that Medicare can request you have a test done. Government has too much interference in our lives. You have to sign up for Medicare whether you wish to or not. What a rip off. I think after a few of Mother Nature's warm blissful days that what comes afterwards feels colder than a winters day. Here is wishing you two a wonderful weekend. Peace

Wonderful.
Nothing like catching a tree with a "different" colour.

The first signs of spring!
It looks like the weather in your neck of the woods is nice---so far.

I just read in the news that this area had the warmest March in many many years.

Today rain is called for but it is nice and sunny right now. 54degrees.

Happy April Fools day!!!

Yes I was happy to see some green. Peace

March was unpredictable as usual. Cold one day, hot the next. Today we are having gusty winds which is much to do with the temperature being 20 degrees warmer than normal. Peace
