They have arrived

The female was the first to be seen and then the male appeared
I love these beautiful Rose Breasted Grosbecks and have been waiting for a good photo to post.
They are very shy so I had to sit and wait when they came along. Yesterday at lunch there were 3 males on the flat feeder. Mostly we have only saw a lone bird on the feeders. They usually grace us for a month until the hot weather rolls in and sends them further north.
The kitty justice is we will enjoy them while they are here,.

YAY!! It is so nice when old friends come back to the dining room table. We don't have Rose ones but do have Evening and Black-headed Grosbeaks. Dandy birds. Enjoy them all

Once upon a time the hill had Evening ones and they would eat you out of house and home. They do not stop by anymore. A real shame. I hope our low number of the Rose ones is not signaling that they may not stop by in the future. I am thrilled that a few have stopped at our table. Peace
Isn't nice they always come:)
