Dropping Temps

I took this photo this morning at six thirty as I figure this may be the bright spot of the day. The temp on the hill was sixty degrees when i awoke and the weather man has said that is the warmest it will be all day. This is one of those days that the temp continues to fall.
As I looked Northwest this morning, you can see one of our neighbors trees covered in green lace. Look closer and the old broken and twisted pear trees have some blooms. We have had three magnificent days and I can only hope the rain does not last for several days.
The Kitty Justice is that rain is predicted in order for those in the weather business to cover their a--.

More Blooms

These little bulbs were all around the sun dial when I arrived on the Hill a few years back and now I have moved them to other flower beds. I do not know the name nor have I ever tried to look them up.
The hillside beside the big Box wood on the right as you look at the house was bare when I made my entrance to the Hill. Not anymore. The Vinca looks gorgeous there.
I planted this flowering Plum tree between the cabin and the house and enjoy it's blooms each year. Being a country girl it did not take long for me to dig in the dirt and improve the Hill.
The Kitty Justice is that plants and trees make the vista a better place to look upon.

Buttercups Anyone

The top 3 photos are of the different Buttercups in the flower bed close to front door.

The top 2 photos show the bed of cups around the Pin Oak tree. The second one is a close up so you can see the pale yellow inside.
When you turn into our driveway look to the left and on the hillside you will see this white beauty.
Before the farm was sold, we dug up all these many kinds of cups that were planted by the old farm house and planted them around our rake( my yard art). They bloom at different times so we have more blooms to look forward to seeing. That is if the cold front coming our way at the end of the week does not stunt their progress. Yesterday and today have been days blessed with warm sun shine and wonderful temperature. Just like Goldilocks said "Just right".
The Kitty Justice is to enjoy all the colorful kisses from Mother Nature.

Photos of March on the Hill

The first 3 photos were taken on March 5th. We had snow but a beautiful sunset out front.

The above 2 photos were taken of the sun rise over the fog on March 12th.

On the 18th,we had blue skies and crocus in bloom.
When I went to visit my sister, her daughter gave me these beautiful roses. Now that is a caring young woman.
I picked this out front and we only had a half a dozen when I did and now most all of the buttercups are blooming.
The Kitty Justice is I wonder why March has zipped by.
