Up close

I tried to get as many close up of the flowers at Cheekwood because I knew the blooms would be gone when I returned.
Before I could think I grabbed the bush and brought the bloom to my nose and took a BIG whiff and then the allergy coughing attached  me for forty feet along the path. People rushed by as they did not wish to catch whatever this lady had but alas I was not contagious just silly woman. It was worth the fit because it smelled Heavenly.
The Kitty Justice is to take the chance and breath deeply.

Cold weather we've been having is taking it's toile on the flowers around here.
Wow. We don't have any flowers in bloom here where I live in Ohio. The daffodils bloomed a week or so ago but they have all faded away. I bought a lot of flower seed but haven't had a chance to plant it yet. I did have all (I mean everything) removed and am starting over this year. Actually, it ended up costing a lot of money to have these large bushes, like boxwood, removed and hauled away.

So sorry about the cold weather, we did get down near freezing this past weekend and the wind made it appear colder. Everything that is purple, pink and white is in bloom around here. The big trees are just now getting the green lace of the summer leaves. Still have a lot more sky than when the canopy gets full. I soaked my Moon Flower seed yesterday and plan to put them out in a big pot today if they have a beginning of a little sprout. I have brought my ferns out and fed them two pots of strong tea. One however looks as if it might not revive. This past weekend I weeded 3 different flower beds but alas there are more that need it. It is hard to play a female Clint Eastwood and know my limitations. I was rather stiff the next day so three at a time must be the limit this year. The photos I have seen of your home makes it hard for me to get in my minds eye a complete removal. Peace
