My son and his friend's trip out west.

"I'm so thrilled to be able to share a project that I worked on over the last month. A few weeks ago, DJI was gracious enough to allow me access to the new 4K RAW aerial camera, the "X5R". Owen Herndon and I embarked on a 2 week roadtrip across the western United States, logging 7300 miles, an average of 8 hours of driving per day, and visiting some of my favorite spots in the US. The following is a link to the finished piece "The West in Winter" Please watch on the largest screen possible, with the audio turned up. This was one of the most fun projects I've ever shot. Enjoy :)..."

Second Sunday in March

We ran around last night before we went to bed and set the clocks so we would lose an hour. Dogs and Cats do not go by clocks like people do, so dark thirty this morning Maggie wanted to go for her morning break and have her breakfast. For once Lilly was not up in my face trying to lick me awake. A cat's tongue is NOT soft so it is a sandpaper awakening. However, as Maggie ran around the yard, up in the top of one of the giant Walnut trees between the houses a real owl was signing his song for me. I may be an odd Kat but I love to hear them Hoot. It had rained during the night and there was fog in the valley and clouds in the sky. No clouds in the photo below because it was not taken today.

This is Mr. Bandit, my son's cat. He and I got to be really good friends for the two weeks Puppy and his friend Ian were doing a big loop out west. Ah, to be so young and care free. Bandit is a large boy but very loving. I would pick him up and we would go cuddle on the couch as we discussed  where Puppy had seen the day before and where he spent the night. I do thing he understood what I was saying. Puppy also has a walk on cat that he has been feeding and the only time Bandit tried to nip me was when I was heading outside to feed Cinnamon. I do believe he is a jealous boy.
Be sure to go to U Tube and search for Ian Cresswell's video of the trip and I will try to put up a link when he puts it out for the pubic.
The KITTY JUSTICE IS BY THE TIME I GET USE TO THE CLOCKS BEING CHANGED, WE WILL HAVE TO CHANGE THEM BACK.
WHY OH WHY CAN THEY NOT LEAVE THEM ONE WAY OR THE OTHER WAY. ANOTHER REASON TO HATE THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY AND THE GOVERNMENT IN GENERAL . AND PEOPLE CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY TRUMP IS SO POPULAR, DUH

On the Bed

Each morning I leave a place in between my pillows for the animal family. The Big Bear is the newest addition and I found him on a seventy per cent off shelf at Walgreens. I know I did not NEED him but I wanted him and his sweet face cheers me to know end. I know I have wasted more than a dollar on other things and with his mark down he was only 99 cents.
He did not come with a name and as of yet, I have not figured out the name that suits him best.
The Kitty Justice is I will let you know as soon as it comes to me.
BTW Do y'all have stuffed animals on your bed?

First Thursday in March

Sunrise this morning before the rain and cloudy day began. Today is my friend Peaches's Burpday. She is a wonderful artist and a delightful friend. Hope you have many more girlfriend.
This was the sunset on Leap Day 2-29-2016.  It was a beautiful day with sun shine. What a wonderful gift from God on this extra day we were given.  Then came Super Tuesday, Election day.
The bottom fell out of the clouds and it rained and rained and then rained some more. Just as I was heading out to vote it began a gully washer or frog strangler, I had my hand of the doorknob to leave but turned around and put on Prince's western rain coat and hat. I already had on my LL Bean rain boots so I was good to go. I LOVE walking in the rain especially if I am completely prepared for it. Everyone was making a mad dash as I strolled into the voting place. Of course lots of folks gave me the "LOOK" but I smiled to myself and  thought "I am completely dry and you Idiots are wet". It took me five minutes to get to the polling place and park and an HOUR to vote. Who would have thought at that time of day and in the rain there would be such a long, long, long line. Note to self ALWAYS EARLY VOTE. This was the first time I had NOT early voted in a long time and now I remember why I  early vote. Needless to say my guy did not win but I gave him at least one more vote than he would have had.
Just like these steps at Gray's Pharmacy in Franklin, life can be an uphill climb at times. Just take it one step at a time and you will reach the top and those steps just like life's upheaval will become  a distance  memory. My dear Mother always said "Let us find the Blessing in today." She was a wise, kind and compassionate woman who endured more than I can fathom but her attitude was wonderful and worth emulating.
The Kitty Justice is to remember WHAT Mother would do.
