Need Help

I have two of these plants but alas after the initial bloom, neither have bloomed again. I have used Miracle Grow Bloom Booster on it but all I get are more green plants. Should I buy a special fertilizer for these or any advise would be appreciate?

The last two days have been hot and double hot here in Tennessee. Both days I was outside and I really looked as if I had just stepped out of a shower when I would venture in to have some water and cool off before heading out again.

I finished painting the old Boss Kerosene Stove that Prince located in the old Mays house before we sold that part of the farm. I could still do a little touch up but that will have to wait for a cooler day. I had planned to use it as yard art but after I saw all the little nook for wasp etc could build in I took it down to the family room. I put it under the Nashville poster Puppy gave me last year for Christmas. I will try to get a photo of it later. I did put it on Face Book for those of you who follow me there.

The plants I winter over in the basement have usually found their spot for the summer outside by now but I have two more to move before I am done. Whew, I think I still have too many after moving them outside and working on them to get them ready for their new residence.

Yesterday I stood guard and acted as the one woman cheering section while Prince cut limbs from five trees that were hanging over the roof. Then he and Puppy took off most of the debris and he has a few more to remove from the back side of the house today. The Kitty Justice is Prince made a statement I thought I would never hear "I wish Dad had cut this Hickory tree". This was made in reference to the big tree just to the right of the front door.  As for me I wish my FIL had cut at least half of the trees that were left when the house was built because then they could have spread their branches instead of growing straight up . Everytime I go outside I hear the trees talking to one another saying "Race you to the moon"

I don't know anything about that plant so can't be of any help. You seem to be feeling better and am so happy for that.

I'm not of much help, Di, re that plant. Is it a bromeliad? If it is, and it does look like it could be a variety of bromeliad, they only flower once, from what I can gather.
