NEW PAINT JOB

The This N That Thrift Shop has a new look. It is blue with white trim. I must say this new color is pleasing to the eye much more so that the HEN S---Shoo that it was.

My Presidency will be over in five months and so many days and I can leave with a SMILE and a pretty new color for the shop.

Now that is REAL KITTY JUSTICE going from hen s---shoo to a pretty blue.

Op Shops are so much fun and so interesting to pour through. I must go along to the one up here on the mountain...it's been a while since I've visited it...it can be my downfall!

It is really a fun thing to do as you never know what you will find. Our donations surprise me, like the antique furniture we got in last month, a 2x 3 ft box full of unopened Nascar collection, doll collection and clothes with the labels people like to say they own.

Everything is donated and all the worker are volunteers which makes it easy for us to give all our profits to St. Lukes Community House to take care of the little children.

Whenever I go to shop, I usually am the best customer of the day. Most of the items I find, I give away to family and friends.

Hi Lady Di ~~ The thrift shop does look nice with the blue and white
paint job. Your mushroom is lovely too. Thanks for your comment and it is so nice when the young ones can teach us specially about computers.
Bec and I are enjoying her visit.
Take care my friend, Love, Merle.

I loved seeing your thrift shop in blue, lovely colour and I am sure the inside is as wonderful.

I am the assistant manager of a second hand shop (here in Australia) now I know blue would not be allowed but I sure wish it could be.
We also have volunteers and so the profit goes into many charity areas like helping those without homes or food for the night.

I too cannot believe what comes in the back doors but we have no trouble seeing anything, people and even antique dealers are always ready to spend and that has to be a good thing.

I have enjoyed your blog today and will sure to come back again soon.
