This is the second bunch of buttercups that we picked and enjoying on our kitchen table. The smell is heavenly.
Lots of them have buds and blooms on them in our yard. The reason we have had some unseasonably warm weather. Yesterday morning it was 71 degrees and last night it dropped to 32 degrees. Quite a change for flowers and people. It rained and rained and rained yesterday. We had tornado warnings until 1PM. Once again we on the hill were spared any damage.
Last Thursday night we had high winds and due to the oak blight we have several big oaks dead behind the log cabin. You guessed it one of them fell during the high winds and it blocked the road going down to the white barn. Puppy and Prince spent most of Saturday clearing the road and cutting up the logs into firewood. I gave them moral support while sitting on the four wheeler wrapped in my shawl and wearing ear muffs. It felt good to be outside with a world that was in place. I had another episode early Saturday morning but not as bad.
The kitty justice is this ole kat is getting better daily and today the sun is shining.

YAY! I am glad you are getting better and that now the sun is shining. We still have snow uo on our hill but just a little ways down the snow is mostly gone. The price we pay for the beauty we live in----I'll take it.
The Daffs are pretty and ours are just coming up. The ones in the Valley are ready to pop but the cold snap set them back a bit.
I bought a jar of Tayberry Jam at a valley farm yesterday and thought of you and the Huckleberry jam. YUM!! MB

I'm also very glad that you are getting better! Maybe you ate something that did no good to you?
Here in Austria it's still cold, but temperatures are slowly rising, warm air is coming from the West, and the buds on the trees are already pretty thick and swelling, they are waiting for a few warm days to show the first green.
Have a nice week ahead! Hugs, Maria

Nothing up and blooming here. Lots of wind, some rain and still 24 degrees at night. Highs in the mid-40s. The daffodils are starting to come up but nothing else is. I did see a chipmunk out the other day. He was packing his cheeks with sunflower chips.

So you gave Prince and Puppy "moral support"?! Good. Hope they appreciated that.

The buttercups are lovely, and so is the fact that you're getting better.

Thanks. I appreciate the thought concerning the Jam. I have a freezer full of berries that I need to whip into preserves before this years crop arrives. I cannot wait to see those fields of daffs you have out there when they do bloom. Peace

Thanks. I have been having bad side effects from the medicine they changed and one of them was Vertigo. Since I changed back to the old meds I took for years the world is getting to be a better place. Looking forward to seeing the green lace of your world. Peace

Abe,
The news has most of Ohio flooded so your response made me feel that yawl are okay. Chipmunks have been tormenting Maggie for weeks running up and down under the boxwoods out front. Peace

Duta
Thanks. I am good at giving Moral support to the guys where hard and heavy lifting is involved. Peace
