The dogwoods are in full bloom all around middle Tennessee and our yard is no exception. My friend, Frank, dug this dogwood up when it was a tiny sprout in the woods on the farm. He brought it up one morning many years ago and asked, "where do you want it?" I thought since the bird bath was already in this part of the yard that it would look nice near it. Also, I could easily water the tree as I put water in the bird bath. I could also see the tree from the windows as I stroll down the hall. This year it is really pretty. Closer and below even closer. The kitty justice is I did pick the best spot for this dogwood tree.
PS Saturday we broke 3 records with our weather of 90 something degrees. Our thermometers had it at one point 95 degrees. Yikes too hot for April.
