I was standing in his driveway and the flower bed is eye level. He said these are Calla lilies. I thought the speckled foliage enchanted their beauty.
Looking down from the road onto the flower bed.
A closer view in these two photos.
The kitty justice is that is a treat to go see what he has blooming in his yard.

Someone gave me a yellow one like this. Unfortunately, they do not survive the winters up here.

Beautiful flowers and equally beautiful pictures. Your neighbor loves his flowers.

I am back now sorry I have not posted or commented for awhile. MB

Lady Di, Lovely flowers and the speckled foliage adds texture.

In this part of the country, the bulbs have to be taken up in the fall and planted in the spring. The bulbs can't take the frost. They turn to mush.

So glad to be in touch again.

Blessings,
Mary

Jerry has a pink and white ones but I do not think I have seen a yellow one. Too bad the winters were too cold for you to add it to your garden. Peace
