Puppy made Salsa yesterday with my guidance. His efforts made 7 and half pints . The half pint was left open so we could try his salsa. We pulled out the chips and were eager to dip some out to taste. I was very cautious with my chip because he had used all hot peppers. The recipe calls for 2 cups of chopped bell peppers and 3/4 cup of chopped hot peppers. Last year we followed the recipe and made sure we took the seeds out of the hot peppers to soften the blow to our tummies. This year Puppy left the seeds in the hot peppers. Now I was happy to have been cautious as it had really good heat. Puppy said it was PERFECT.
The Kitty Justice is to have a big glass of milk when you dip your chips in the salsa. HOT HOT HOT

I've been hanging out for this salsa! In the meantime I took some salsa lessons!

Mmmmm!!! Looks good. I would worry about the seeds too. I am not a fan of too too hot stuff. Bob's son Jim makes Hot Salsa too. He sells it at a local produce store. It is called Basil Jim's Salsa. Too hot for me. Drink that milk with ice cubes too. MB
