WISHING FOR A WHITE CHRISTMAS.
I put out more decorations yesterday but have not taken a picture yet. However, the last picture is the way it looks. Sunny and cool. Yesterday we reached 68 degrees which was a prefect time to decorate outside.
Today the wind is blowing but still the sun is out to fool you and when you step outside any loose clothing goes whipping in the breeze. It is to be a 46 degrees today. So glad I got out yesterday and did what little I could to make it appear we have Christmas Cheer.
My big wind chime on the bottom porch has a deep constant ring. The whirley gig looks like a giant cork screw and the wind mills is turning so fast it appears to be solid.
My shamrocks in previous blog look so bad that they have been taken to the basement today and I brought up some more decorations to put in that corner. I am trying not to go over board but it seems when I get started I just keep dragging items out to put here or there.
I brought up the Nativity Scene which is really old and put it in the dining room for Mimi to arrange the figures after I brave the elements and go pick up some pine straw to put in the manger.
The Kitty Justice is that decorating for Christmas is like a snowball heading DOWNHILL.
THIS IS HOW IT LOOKS ALTHOUGH I WISH THE DECORATIONS THAT I PUT OUT YESTERDAY IT WOULD SNOW ON THEM.

Wonderful photos. I love your house. Looks a lot like the one that Grandma used to live in.
Enjoy your Christmas decorating. I hope there are more photos to come.
Blessings,
Mary
The old rack and seeder were in gulley on the farm and Prince rescued them for me so I could make yard art out of them.
I like the word Christmasy.
Peace
Glad to have company in the over decorating. I LOL when I read your comment about trying to keep it simple and thought we must be twins at heart. haha
Peace
